Having been residents of Hong Kong for nearly 25 years, the directors of PPS take a serious interest in community affairs and in 1998 Nicholas Brooke was awarded a Bronze Bauhinia Star by the SAR Government for his services to the community, particularly for his contribution to housing policy. He was also a member of the Town Planning Board and is still an active participant in several Government Boards and Committees (see Company Profile).
Current community interests include the protection of the Harbour, building conservation, urban regeneration and the environment and this section contains various papers, presentations and proposals which have been prepared and published by the directors in an effort to generate community debate or secure changes and improvements in Government policies.
